Ted Farrell Memorial Scholarship

The Mortgage Education Foundation is proud to announce the twelfth year for Ted Farrell Memorial Scholarships. Ted was committed to leadership and education and was an excellent teacher for the MEF. In remembrance of his dedication and hard work, we want to recognize deserving students and give them an opportunity to pursue their education and careers. In 2011 we are again proud to be awarding praiseworthy students thousands of dollars in scholarships. Each student will receive a scholarship of $500.00.

Eligibility for Scholarship

  1. Scholarship Applicants must be a relative (son, daughter, grandchild, niece, nephew) of someone that is a member of the Illinois Association of Mortgage Professionals.
  2. Applicants Must Be In Their Senior Year Of High School To Apply.
  3. Applicants Must Be Illinois Residents.
  4. The Applicant Must Have Achieved A Minimum GPA of a B Average or better.

Scholarship Facts

  1. MEF Scholarships Are Awarded Based On Scholastic Achievement, Extracurricular Activities, Educational And Career Goals for the Future.
  2. The Scholarship Is To Be Applied Toward Tuition, Housing, Fees, Or Books.
  3. Selection Of The Winners Will Be In April And The Awarding Of The Scholarships Will Be Awarded at the Scholarship Awards Banquet for Family and Friends in June with a Date and Location to be Announced.
